Many of our patients use technology to support them in living well with pain.
Pain technology can range from websites, podcasts and videos to using telephone and video consultations in the pain service. Whilst we don’t believe technology can replace working with one of our pain clinicians it can be a fantastic addition to support you to achieve your goals and live well.
Some of our patients prefer to use video or telephone consultations when pain makes travel challenging, some don’t and that’s fine. If you think these options might interest you and would like to know more please ask one of our Patient Care Advisors when booking your appointment or alternatively discuss it with your clinician during your visit.
We are also keen to develop a Lincolnshire specific pain app to support patients and will be looking for patients and their friends/family to help us with this…..watch this space!
